My Discovery is a true classic – built in 1995 and powered by the legendary 300TDI engine. Rust-free and incredibly reliable, it’s been my go-to vehicle for countless camping adventures. On the roof sits a permanent rooftop tent and a solar panel that powers my fridge and lighting setup.
In the back, I built a custom modular kitchen system with storage boxes – perfect for long overland trips or spontaneous weekend escapes.
It’s also equipped with a winch, suspension lift, and larger off-road tires – everything needed for real off-road adventures.
Some time ago, the timing belt snapped, which meant: full engine removal and rebuild – new shocks, complete overhaul, and careful tuning. Since then, it’s been running flawlessly.
I plan to keep this Land Rover for at least another 30 years – because vehicles like this simply don’t exist anymore.
