ERIC
Hi, I’m a 30-year-old landscape photographer based in beautiful Bavaria, Germany.
My lifelong passion for nature and its endless variety has shaped who I am — both as a person and as an artist.
Growing up, I was always an outdoors kid — happiest when surrounded by forests, mountains, and the stillness of early mornings before and after school. While school never felt like my true element, photography quickly became my escape and my creative connection to the natural world.
Professionally, my journey began in a different direction. I trained as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant, but my heart was always drawn to the creative side of life. In 2010, I decided to take photography seriously — and that decision changed everything. My first camera was a Nikon D200, followed by the Nikon D3, and in 2018, I upgraded to the Nikon D850 and later the Nikon Z6. To expand my perspectives, I added the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom drone in 2019, opening new horizons in aerial landscape photography.
I never attended formal photography courses — instead, I embraced the philosophy of “learning by doing.” This hands-on approach has guided me through countless challenges and discoveries, allowing me to refine my skills and develop a visual style that feels truly my own.
Today, my creative curiosity extends beyond photography. I’m currently exploring sound design and field recording, again following the same principle of learning through experimentation and experience.
For me, photography isn’t just a job or a hobby — it’s a way of life. It allows me to capture the beauty, emotion, and quiet power of nature, and to share those moments with others. Each image I create tells part of my story — an invitation to see the world through my eyes.
